Meet Dr. Marshall

My name is Andrew Marshall and my passion is changing people’s lives. It is my goal to do this, not only by creating beautiful smiles, but by fostering long-lasting relationships as well. That is why I love orthodontics. I love meeting new people, and I love seeing the look on my patients’ faces when we achieve the beautiful smile that they deserve.

I am a native of the South Carolina Upstate where I am a graduate of Spartanburg High School. My wife and I have three children who keep us extremely busy and we are active members of our local church. When I am not at the office doing what I love, I am either spending time with my awesome wife and kids, playing golf, or you can find me somewhere in the great outdoors. 

I am a 1999 graduate of Virginia Tech where I was a member of the Virginia Tech Men’s Swim Team. I received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2006. I had the privilege of serving in the U.S. Army from 2006 to 2016 during which time I was selected to attend an Advanced General Dentistry residency at Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC, as well an orthodontic residency program where I earned my Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry from the University of Louisville. I had the privilege of serving as an assistant professor in orthodontics at Fort Gordon, GA in the Army’s post-graduate periodontics, prosthodontic, endodontic, and oral surgery residency programs from 2013-2016. 

Over the last decade I have had the opportunity to participate in some very exciting and cutting-edge continuing education programs all over the world that not only keeps me on the leading edge of my field in orthodontics, but in dentistry as well. I love to learn and I truly enjoy continuing education that benefits my patients. I continue to stay ahead in traditional braces, early interceptive orthodontics in children, Invisalign®, braces involving corrective jaw surgery, accelerated orthodontics, and complex multi-specialty orthodontic treatment.
